Good Luck Gas Station

Good Luck gas station in Dallas

This is the last surviving (barely) Good Luck gas station in Dallas, Texas.

The Art Deco service station was built in 1939. It features a 35-foot stair stepped tower that was modeled after the Tower Building at the Texas Centennial at Dallas, Fair Park in 1936.

Three of these Art Deco buildings existed in Dallas, but two were torn down.

The building has been extensively modified. The covered area was filled to create more interior space and of course the neon lighting is long gone.

Location

Right in the center of Dallas, across from the Alamo Draft House Cinema.
