Granger Texas Art Deco Ice House

We ran across this beautiful Art Deco building in Granger, Texas on one of our road trips.

The building was constructed around 1910. According to the Williamson County Historical Commission website, it was used to make block ice. It was also utilized as a cotton compress and cottonseed oil mill, an electric light plant, and a waterworks.

We certainly hope the City of Granger saves this building from destruction.
